About Sonoran Animal Chiropractic

Sonoran Animal Chiropractic was built on a simple belief: Animals get better care when it comes to them, delivered by providers trained specifically to give it. Get to know the team behind this practice.

Meet the Team

Dr. Kristen Christensen, DVM, CAVCA

Dr. Kristen is a licensed veterinarian and AVCA - certified animal chiropractor — a unique combination that gives her a genuinely different lens on animal health and performance. A graduate of UC Davis School of Veterinary Medicine, Dr. Kristen built her career across California, Arizona, and New Mexico, moving from general practice into equine sports medicine at the racetracks. While in veterinary school she discovered animal chiropractic through one of her professors who was certified and offered chiropractic as a service through the school. She pursued specialized training through ACES (Animal Chiropractic Education Source) in Meridian, TX and earned her certification through the American Veterinary Chiropractic Association (AVCA). She continues adding to that foundation through ongoing continuing education.

When she's not on the road seeing patients, Dr. Kristen is riding her two off track racehorses, one of which is in training to barrel race, while also keeping up with her two corgis, a cat, two kids and her husband.

Dr. Alicia White, DC, CAVCA

Dr. Alicia is a licensed chiropractor with specialized certification in animal chiropractic through the American Veterinary Chiropractic Association (AVCA) — bringing a deep understanding of the spine and nervous system to every animal she treats.

A graduate of Life University in Marietta, GA, Dr. Alicia chose to pursue animal chiropractic training through ACES (Animal Chiropractic Education Source) in Meridian, TX alongside her chiropractic degree. She relocated to Arizona in 2022 and joined the Sonoran Animal Chiropractic team in 2023, where she sees dogs, cats, and horses.
